2 March 2010New home construction starts at Giants Ridge
Construction is underway on a new 27 unit member-owned fractional ownership home development at Giants Ridge.
The Residence Club at Giants Ridge is a development where each owner will be able to buy deeded ownership in one of the homes, but be able to occupy any available Residence Club home. Each of the 3,300 square-foot homes will contain four bedrooms, four bathrooms, two fireplaces, fitness area with sauna, home theater, game area, three-season porch and two-car garage.
The homes will offer views of Sabin Lake, the Legend golf course or the Giants Ridge ski facility.
Construction of the first home by T & M Construction of Hibbing is underway. A second home will be built this spring. All of the homes will be constructed to Minnesota GreenStar standards. Minnesota GreenStar Standards incorporate five principles: energy efficiency, resource efficiency, water conservation, indoor environmental quality and site & community impact.
