Want to hear about the impact of more than $6 billion in major economic development projects underway or planned in northeastern Minnesota?
From noon to 1:30 p.m., Thursday, January 14, 2010, in Room 102 of the Eveleth Campus of Mesabi Range Community & Technical College, you can learn about how the region is preparing for future economic growth anticipated as a result of the projects.
Roy Smith, Iron Range Resources regional workforce coordinator, addresses a Laurentian Chamber of Commerce Professional Development series on the status of the projects and identifying strengths, opportunities and priorities for the region.
RSVP’s to the Laurentian Chamber of Commerce are due by January 12. RSVPs can be made by calling (218)741-2717, by email at admin@laurentianchamber.org or online at http://laurentianchamber.org and clicking on the Events Calendar link and then on the January 2010 Professional Development link.
The cost is $15 for Laurentian Chamber of Commerce members and $20 for non-chamber members, lunch and any materials included.
